In June 2005, The HK Soccer Club donated old uniforms to an orphanage in Quito, Ecudador. The uniforms were delivered by Matthew Vivero and Pat Vivero's parents.
The sisters/nuns that run the orphanage were extremely grateful for the club's donation and the kids were thrilled to wear the jerseys. The sisters plan to rotate the use of the jerseys to all kids (approximately 80) in their care so that they all get a chance to wear them during play time.
